The inaugural series: on 23 February at Cross Arts Projects, on 30 March at Chalkhorse and on 27 April at Gallery 4a.

Sydney Review Panel is baby cousin to New York’s Review Panel (http://artcritical.com/REVIEWPANEL/index.htm), where each month, distinguished critics join moderator David Cohen to discuss pre-selected exhibitions the audience has had a chance to visit.

Sydney Review Panel, convened by critic Valerie Kabov, aims to promote vibrant, open and independent discussion of contemporary art and to enable art critics to share in their expertise and perspectives with colleagues, artists and broader audiences.

Panelists:
Dr Alan Krell, is an art critic and writer; he is an Associate Professor at the College of Fine Arts(COFA),University of NSW,School of Art History and Art Education
Dr Adam Geczy is an artist and writer; he is Senior Lecturer in Sculpture, Performance and Installation at Sydney College of the Arts
Gillian Serisier is an art critic, writer and art collector, she is a staff writer for Art Market Report.
 


Attendence: By RSVP only as seating is limited. Audience members are strongly encouraged to visit the exhibitions in review ahead of the event, to enable an engaged question and answer session.
